Your mentor and our former Medical Admissions Tutors will work closely with you to help you draft a strong medical school Personal Statement, ensuring that your points are correctly weighted to suit medical school requirements.

Communication Skills and Interview Preparation
To practice different interview techniques, you will receive specific communications skills training with an NLP expert. This is invaluable for both Medicine interviews for university and future job applications. Grow your confidence and communications skills in your one-to-one mentor sessions and throughout several mock interviews.
Research
Every year, we conduct extensive research into the application process for Medicine and medical sciences such as Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy, and train our tutors to reflect this in their tuition. And because our work is informed by doctors, former medical Admissions Tutors, and lay members of admissions panels to top UK universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, UCL and Imperial, we are apprised of any changes in what medical schools want to see from new applicants.

Dr Emma Brierley, MB BChir MA(Hons) Cantab, Senior Medical Consultant
Emma is a Cambridge Medicine graduate, having graduated in 2007 with a pre-clinical Medical Sciences degree, followed by a Clinical Medicine degree in 2010. Since gaining her degree, Emma worked in a number of disciplines as a doctor before finding her passion in palliative care. Emma has experience working with students through her time as a Teach First graduate and now strives to help students to pursue their passion and become doctors. Emma works with us to provide students with consultations on their medical applications, as well as long-term support to students on our Application Support Programme.
Results
At Dukes Medical Applications, we are very proud of our achievements. Since 1999, we have built a proven track record of increasing the success rates of our applicants. 50% of Medicine applicants to Oxford and Cambridge on our Medical Application Programme received a place, compared to the average of 15.2% for all applicants.
