Law is a fascinating subject and often not what students who take it expect it to be. Law A level students will learn about the significance of the separation of the judiciary from the legislative bodies and about the legal systems in the UK, the USA, Europe and international law. It will also teach students about the basis by which law is created and the role of morality, philosophy and justice in law making and enforcement.
Students who want to be lawyers or to study law at university should consider taking A levels in facilitating subjects such as History or English Literature but credible candidates for law degrees are expected to know and to understand the law and Law A level can help them to achieve this.
