ICT is arguably the fastest-moving subject subject on the curriculum. New ICT applications are unveiled almost on a daily basis. The A level teaches students how to become expert users of software and understand how different information systems can interact and be used for a specific purpose.
ICT is distinct from computing A level in that its focus is on the use of computers and software rather than on coding and computer language and can be a useful subject for students who wish to pursue a career which relies heavily on the use of computer soft and hardware.
